Spring Military PTSD – App Design & App Development

NHS Wales – Traumatic Stress Apps.

Funded by Welsh Government, Traumatic Stress Wales aims to improve the health and wellbeing of people of all ages living in Wales at risk of developing or with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD).

Spring is a series of internet-based self-help, trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy programs to help treat PTSD.

The app features an intuitive design with user-friendly navigation and clear screen layouts, allowing users to move seamlessly through the program. Each step is focused on delivering tailored information on PTSD, specifically with a military focus. Audio narration accompanies each screen to guide users, and video segments feature actors sharing reflections on their experiences, creating a relatable and engaging user experience.

Additionally, the program enables the collection of important data, which is relayed back to clinicians. Users can submit data through various mediums, including visual illustrations, voice recordings, and written inputs, ensuring flexible and comprehensive feedback.

Timeline
The project was approximately 12 weeks.
