Established in 1896, Fiddes Wood Finishes are renowned by specialist wood restoration companies and manufacturers around the world.

With a successful introduction into online marketing, Fiddes ambition was to expand awareness and growth by reaching out to a wider, retail audience.

To achieve this required extensive research, brand audit and a creative strategy that consolidated their extensive product portfolio whilst creating a more cohesive and attractive appeal that focussed on the quality and main purpose of their products together with their brand heritage.

Developing our designs to 3D allows us to fully imagine the true presentation and entire range of products across all carrier shapes and sizes. Their realistic quality also negating a need for further studio photography.

Our photography and video is styled to encapsulate the care and passion behind the manufacturing of this British heritage brand.

As well as improving their product display and online shopping experience, another key objective was to point customers towards buying more locally to stores through a network of retailers across the UK and beyond.

Technology: WordPress, Stripe, PayPal, WooCommerce, E-Commerce, Responsive.

Background: Fiddes’ earlier site pulled together their extensive list of trade-specific products and associated decorating sundries. Being around ten years old, the tech needed reviewing together with the customer journey.

Result: With a unified presentation, category listing and catalogue navigation menu, the result provides a more intuitive user journey with easier exploration throughout the website.
Additionally, this helped to deliver an improved search facility and faster page loading times which, when linked with social media platforms all helps to enhance the customer experience.
