Core Brands Packaging.

Established in Cardiff in 1882 by Samual Arthur Brain, Brains SA, Brains Bitter & Brains Dark remain the brewery’s flagship brands with a following that is part of the city’s heritage.

Developing the packaging presentation and in particular their bar presence, our strategy focussed on how we could maximise visibility by breaking with the conventions of the traditional pump clip. 

Following the new designs for the cans and the bottle labels with their 180 degree presentation  we considered the available space between traditional bar beer engines.

The result was to create a larger, semi-circular clip that provides a greater display area.
Moulded in metal alloy the designs are sprayed gold before all other colours are individually applied.
